Fitness compensation in M. tuberculosis: A game of genetic chess

vikibrunner, 11th March 202411th March 2024

It was a pleasure to write this short blog post for the Microbiology Society, talking about my latest paper on fitness compensation in M. tuberculosis, and the process that led to this work.

🖋 Apart from a very short summary of the paper I hence also describe parts of my PhD journey and what led @philipwfowler and I towards this particular project.
📎 In case you are interested in our full story on fitness compensation in TB, here’s the link to the paper: https://doi.org/10.1099/mgen.0.001187
